It appears that the no load current of 20% or less of rated full load current could lead to a very high power factor.

Your suggested links lead to -
a) - A manufacturer of small, special purpose DC motors
b) - The manual for a variable speed drive for elevator applications.
What, precisely, do these links have to do with the question in hand, which relates to the no-load current of squirrel cage induction motors?
Also, note that the power factor at no-load will tend to be be LOW, not high.

On re-reading the above, it comes to me that what you meant was that for a no-load current of 20% or less, the full load power factor would be extremely high (around 0.98). I agree with this, but still question the relevance of the links.
