assembly problems

(OP)
first of all i would like to thank everyone that has helped me with any problems i have had using solidworks, i have a question in a assembly i notice that when i rotate my model parts turn to blocks could that be normal or could it be a problem with my video card.

RE: assembly problems

That is normal. Under tools/options/system options/large assy mode you will see the Display categories. There is a slider "Level of Detail". You can adjust that. You should see the difference.

RE: assembly problems

Yeah, but the more 'detail' you give it, slows it down.  'Buyer Beware' - or whatever the equivalent.

RE: assembly problems

Yeah my hot rod "gamer" computer with it's top of the line gamer card and cpu does this too occasionally. You need cad specific video cards for the big models.  Really big $$$ for these. Surprisingly they don't do the games as well haha. Can't have both I guess.

99 Dodge CTD dually.
