Centre of Polyline + Scale

Centre of Polyline + Scale

Centre of Polyline + Scale

(OP)
Is it possible to draw a polyline then find out its centre. The polylines will mainly make up 2D boxes but they could be any shape. What I want to do is draw the line and scale it using its centre point.
It would also be great if I could do this in a lisp so that I can do it over again quickly.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Andrew

RE: Centre of Polyline + Scale

If I remember: if the polyline is closed, type in REGION, make it a region and then do a MASSPROP on the region. It should spit out the info.

andrew299,
You can look in the www for a lisp:
http://www.resourcecad.com/programs/
You have to register, an then You can download the "cent"-tool. It makes a point on the centroid of Your polyline. But I didn't test it by myself.
