Dear Friends,

Is there a code about the percentage of neutral current in a 3 phase wye system. I have 3phase wye system around 450A loaded with a neutral current arount 35-40 Amps.Is this abnormal?
I also have number of xfrs which are 20-40% loaded is this efficient?
is there any rule/code/standard that suggest what percentage of xfr should be loaded to be efficient?

Thanks

RE: Power Quality

It depends.  What type of load of you serving, what is your load diversity, what is your peak load, what is your anticipated future load growth, ...?
