Autocad 2007, thoughts and or questions

(OP)
Just installed 2007 today, was wondering if anyone else has tried it? It's supposed to have a much better 3D capibility.

I played around with it for around an hour, and I do like it.

As for 2D, no major changes. They have also changed the binary's so your old arx files will not work. I believe the 2007 dwg file has also been changed, but I'm currently saving everything as 2000 anyway, so not an issue.

RE: Autocad 2007, thoughts and or questions

No plans here to install 07 until end of year. For 3D, I use SolidWorks...much easier to use.

Yeah. We noticed Autodesk will give 3 releases before they obsolete the previous release. Those stockholders need the cash flow I guess.
