System Registry

System Registry

System Registry

(OP)
I have a system registry issue that claims I do not have administrative access to utilize all the files from the installation.  Besides re-installing, is there any other way I can solve this?

Thanks,
GM

RE: System Registry

Re-installing won't help unless it is re-installed by an administrator.  At our company, we have IT make each user an administrator on their own computer to get around this limitation.

There are probably other better ideas out there, but that's how we solve it.

RE: System Registry

We let users be POWER USERS on their machines. The admin will have to set this. We have found the best way is to install the program as ADMINISTRATOR and then back the access down to Power User afterward.

I'm sorry, I failed to mention that I am the administrator.  I was wondering if anyone knew any other way around this problem without having to un-install and re-install.

Thanks,
GM
