Line feed Back??

Line feed Back??

Line feed Back??

(OP)
Hello
How / where can I reset the feed back that shows on the screen when making a line. With the copy at work (SW 2006)when I make a line I have feed back showing the  length and angle in the vicinity of the cursor.. At home (SW 2006) I do not have this and find it frustrating....
Thank you for any help on this issue
Ralph

RE: Line feed Back??

I kinda have it set like you are stating, but I can't find which setting it is (also looked under View).  I see the line length to the right of the cursor, but not the angle.  Search Matt Lombard's post, "Tools Options Summary for 2006", thread559-147777

RE: Line feed Back??

The best way to get your SW options "synchronized" is to use the Copy Settings Wizard. It can be found in Start > All Programs > SolidWorks > SolidWorks Tools.

It could also be a video card/driver issue. Are both cards/drivers the same?

cheers

Thanks... I think perhps it is a videocard issue. Since I have noticed I get no feed back in many instances.. Even when following a basic example from the help... my screen does not show what there should be. Will try updating my drivers.. I am using a card "not" recomended by SW... An ATI 9600 All in Wonder 9600

RE: Line feed Back??

By all means try updating the drivers, but I can almost guarantee that you will still have problems ... like dimensions or sketches disappearing, ghosting when moving windows/dialogue boxes & generally crappy performance.

If you're going to be doing some serious work from home, a "certified" card is highly recommended.
