Relations problem in assembly

Relations problem in assembly

Relations problem in assembly

(OP)
I just upgraded to SP 3.4 and now I am having the problem.  I am inserting a new component into an assembly.  For the base feature, I am using an existing edge from another part.  When I offset the line, "add dimensions" is checked, and the line offsets, but no reference is made......blue undefined lines. I did not have this problem with the previous service pack.  Has anyone had this problem, or know how to fix it?
Thank You
Brandon

RE: Relations problem in assembly

Check to see if you have "no external references" turned on.  This is on the Assembly toolbar next to the "Edit Component" (in-context) button.  That setting is also found at Tools > Options > External References > Do not create references external to the model.

Good Luck.
