Moving a part in an assembly

Moving a part in an assembly

Moving a part in an assembly

(OP)
Hi.

First, sorry for my English.
My problem is that in an asembly, I want to move one part respect another one, but I want this part to stop when it is touching the other.

I know there are options for doing this when you are moving a part, but this option isn“t available. I think it is called "Analisys", but the option only tells "No Analysis".

Can it be for using an academic license?

Thanks.

RE: Moving a part in an assembly

Nano86,

When moving parts you should have three options:

No analysis
Detect Collisions
Physical Motion

It could be that the academic license does not have the other two options but I'm not sure.  Detect collisions would probably do the job and physical motion would definitely allow the type of interaction you are looking for.

Kyle
