mouse w/wheel as MB2

mouse w/wheel as MB2

mouse w/wheel as MB2

(OP)
My wheel mouse zooms when depressing the wheel/MB2, and the pan (SHIFT + MB2) does not work nor does CTRL + MB1 to rotate.  Is there a setting to re-activate this?  There may have been a spaceball on this system prior to my use.  I'm tempted to find and replace the mouse driver.  Does the spaceball driver over-ride the wheel mouse?

RE: mouse w/wheel as MB2

No, it shouldn't override the driver.  I'm running both a spaceball and a wheeled mouse with no problems.

RE: mouse w/wheel as MB2

Sorry it took so long to get back...
The only property I can change with regards to the wheel is how many lines it will move when rolled.
As far as the buttons are concerned, I can only switch functions.
The mouse properties on my computer don't refer to "button 1" or "button 2", just "buttons" and "wheel".
Maybe it's something in the UG setup?
