Task scheduler - repeatedly freezing when printing drawings

Task scheduler - repeatedly freezing when printing drawings

Task scheduler - repeatedly freezing when printing drawings

(OP)
Is it me or is Task Scheulder usless?

When trying to print .drw files with 'Print files' or 'Print PDMWorks files' in any significant number Task Scheduler freezes for ages before either:

- printing about 4 drawings then freezes again indefinitly
- printing 0 drawings and continues its 'scheduled' status until I shut it down.

Am I doing something wrong?

RE: Task scheduler - repeatedly freezing when printing drawings

Do you have "performance e-mail" turned on in SW optioms?  This will cause task scheduler to hang becasue its trying to send the performance e-mail and needs you to "ok" it.

This has happened to me a numb er of times.  I actually have had good luck with task scheduler but it does have its shortcomings.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah that's happened once, but it's not the problem this time - it gets to the stage where it generates all the subtasks, then does nothing - Have I really got to open 150 drawings and print them all manually?!

That's great, consider yourself starred!  So why can't Task Scheduler do that!?

Shame it's only 30 day licence...

RE: Task scheduler - repeatedly freezing when printing drawings

It usually does!

cheers
