Sketch on flat-pattern & file version numbers??

Sketch on flat-pattern & file version numbers??

Sketch on flat-pattern & file version numbers??

(OP)
Can I not sketch a curve on a flat pattern using the [flat pattern] command?  When I do it re-bends the part when it takes me into the sketcher.  In the past I've always just used [Unbend - All] and that allows me to sketch on the "flat pattern".  I guess it's no big deal.  I can continue to [Unbend].

Also, is there something I need to change in the config.pro to be able to see version numbers on created files?  Without having Pro/Intralink those versioned files can get out of hand after a while, but the way it is right now there is no version number, so I have to go by date to figure out the most recent version...

thanks...

RE: Sketch on flat-pattern & file version numbers??

For your second issue: set the following variable in your config.pro:

display_full_object_path yes

And for your first question, 'flat pattern' has to be the last feature in your model tree.  'Unbend all' is the correct way to do it.

Hey, thanks guys!

BTW, I had to go into the computers folder options and turn off [Hide extesnsion for known file types] in addition to display_full_object_path yes...

RE: Sketch on flat-pattern & file version numbers??

I thought you want to see the version number on the title bar of your PROE window and not in the WINDOWS folder(which is nothing to do with the folder options), but it doesn't matter, seems to me you solved both problems.
