Boiler discharge PSV and BFW Pump

I have heard that the boiler feed water pump needs to have the capability to lift the Boiler discharge PSV. I am trying to find this requirement in the ASME Boiler codes, but since the code is huge, I need some help to point me to the relevant sub section.

I have already checked PG-67 and could not find the requirement.

RE: Boiler discharge PSV and BFW Pump

Review PG 61.1 in the 2004 Edition of ASME B&PV Code, Section I. The boiler feed pump needs to be sized to supply an adequate amount of water to the boiler to avoid severe damage to waterwall and steam circuits in the event an interruption occurs in the supply of feedwater (two supply means are required). The boiler feed pump discharge pressure must be 3% higher than the highest safety valve setting on the boiler.
