Cleaning up of used oil spill

Cleaning up of used oil spill

Cleaning up of used oil spill

(OP)
There is a problem of illegal dumping of used oil into our sewers, which leads to problems at one of the pump stations.  A couple of chemicals used for cleaning oil have been used, but not with success.  We suspect that the age of the oil is the reason.  Is there any advice on how to deal with oil spills in a well when the oil is not fresh?

Lojack:

If possible, pump off top layer free oil and follow with a hefty dose, with mixing, of a liquid multi-enzyme concentrate to accelerate the degradation of residual emulsified oil. The enzyme can be obtained at ECP International, LLC, 928-522-0194.
