How to place a Section in Sketcher Mode 2000I2

(OP)
Hi you all,
I am having difficulty placing existing
section in sketcher 2000I2. I have lots of section
already drawn in Autocad, and would like to use them
in Pro_E 2000I2 Sketcher Mode.
Is there an easy way to do this? Please
give me some steps that I can follow thru.

Thank You so much  for your effort............

Have a happy, healthy, and a prosperous New Year....

You can import dxf files into sketcher mode.
I can not remember exactly how to do this in 2000i2 as it has changed in 2001 but I think you get to it by file, append to file.
I know it can be done but I have found that dxf files work the best from Autocad however check the dimensions of the imported section.

Good luck.

I think it is more likly to read File>Import>Append to Model. Instead of what I said before.

while modeling a part and creating a feature- in the sketcher:
file, import, append to model.
now you'll see files of type .sec and you can place them.
