Moving sketch entities between sketches

I really haven't spent much time trying this but is it possible to take geometry that was created in one sketch and move it to another sketch?

RE: Moving sketch entities between sketches

ctrl-X
ctrl-V

RE: Moving sketch entities between sketches

You could save it as a Sketch block and import it into the new sketch as well

I didn't think it would be as simple as that, thanks.

RE: Moving sketch entities between sketches

You can also make a derived sketch and then "underive" it so that you can make changes.

For complex sketches with many entities, it's generally faster than cut-paste through the Windows clipboard.

also, create a new sketch then drag (or ctrl-drag) the old sketch from the feature tree to the new sketch.
