Hi everyone,
Does anyone know what happened to the ability to add the "Description" to a file while you save it? We have not changed anything in our templates, so I am really puzzled.
Is there a new setting somewhere to turn on and off the "Description" field during a save? Ours is greyed out banghead. BTW this happens on all type of SolidWorks files. We are just now upgrading to SW2006 SP3.4.

Regards,
Dan Olid

It has been this way for a long time, I allready reported this problem for SW2005 SP0... Move up a dir and go back in the dir, it will reappear.

Thank you Stefan. That did the trick. I can't believe this has been happening since 2005. We just ugraded from 2005 and had never seen that before.

A star for you and thumbs up for you
