Moving Components using API

Moving Components using API

(OP)
Ideally I'd like to move components a given distance and check for collision...However, I'm taking it one step at a time, and I would first like to move (translate) a given component "x" distance...How could I do this? I tried the "Use presentation transforms to move components example" for VB and I don't understand how it works...I'm trying to get more info aobut the subject...If any of you can give me a brief explanation, I would really appreciate it...

thanks,

Javier

RE: Moving Components using API

Presentation transforms are not what you want.  They apply to exploded views.

Have you tried SW's built-in collision detection?

I could be the world's greatest underachiever, if I could just learn to apply myself.
