Through curve mesh question - NX4

Through curve mesh question - NX4

Through curve mesh question - NX4

(OP)
Just got NX4 installed - looks good.
Just one question - How do I add a primary or sectional curve
to a through curve mesh?

RE: Through curve mesh question - NX4

I haven't used TCM in a while, but before UGS changed it you used to have to Edit Feature, select the TCM feature then a dialog would pop up and one of the choices would be Add String.  Select Add String and NX should prompt for you to select the string (section) you want the new string to be placed AFTER.  If you're wanting to add a new FIRST string, NX will prompt you if you want the new section to come before or after the first string.

You may now have to use Edit with Rollback to do this.  You'll just have to try both Edit Feature and Edit with Rollback and see which one works.  I'm typing this from memory, so I'm not positive this is the exact method, but it should get you to where you want to go.

Thanks nkwheelguy. NX4 is slightly different to NX3 in that
you do not have an option to add string. You have to select
the string you want to add , and then re-order it accordingly.

Thanks for the follow up.  Glad you got it figured out.
