Do any of you know  a easy way to cut a taper on Titanium honeycomb? I need to cut a 5-6inch long by .25 deep wedge of of 3.5 pound pre cubic foot ti honeycomb. The cut would be 12 feet long.

waterjet would be my prefferred method

RE: Triming Ti Honeycomb

You might try these guys, they make core cutting
cutters specifically for honeycomb.  You might
rough to within .030 with a endmill and then finish
with one of their core slicer cutters.
