Rotor And Blade

(OP)
Hi everybody,
I wanna know how to attach the blade to the rotor. What method to use?

RE: Rotor And Blade

What kind of blade to what kind of rotor????

RE: Rotor And Blade

Dear Loella,

Hope your question means about fixing of turbine blade to the rotor. There are many types of turbine blades with different types of root configuration. Example to say is the fir tree type root, t-slot type etc. This blades are inserted in to the rotor which will have the female mating part of the blate root. The end blades are fixed by reveting, cocking or welding. All the blades are further fixed using shroud-riveting/rolled in wiring, metal wiring etc.

Regards,

V.Venkat
