Finding the Average Temperature of a Surface

Finding the Average Temperature of a Surface

Finding the Average Temperature of a Surface

(OP)
Is it possible to get ProMechanica WF2 to calculate the average temperature of a surface in a thermal model? I'm trying to extract an equivalent thermal conductivity for a multi-material model (Standard resistance network techniques aren't valid as there is side conduction as well as parallel conduction in the solution).

I've tried setting measures, but there's no average temperature option in the list. There's also no query option I'm aware of to give an average temperature for a surface.

Has anyone any ideas?

RE: Finding the Average Temperature of a Surface

You could create a point pattern on the surface and create measures on the points.  Then create a computed measure to average them.
