Trackball use with Pro/E Wildfire 2.0

Trackball use with Pro/E Wildfire 2.0

(OP)
Has anyone figured out a way to use a trackball with Wildfire 2.0?

I have a Kennsington 4 button trackball that I would love to use with Wildfire. It's buttons are programmable; however, the problem is that it is hard to replace the scroll-wheel/click/drag function so often needed in Wildfire.

Thanks!

RE: Trackball use with Pro/E Wildfire 2.0

I used one o' them for years and had to ditch it when I got Pro/E.  I can't offer (can't remember or didn't do because I also use a spaceball) anything relevant to your specific question but there was a definite stability problem using the Kensington trackball with Pro/E on my system.  Think you'll be happier getting a good cordless mouse and definitely look at a 3D device for the other hand.
