Engineering calculator tool

(OP)
There is a little shareware tool, which I can recommend for dimensioning calculations and similar technical and engineering calculations. You find it in the net under the URL:

http://members.vol.at/us/dimcalc

What is special with this calculator is that you can make calculations directly with physical quantities (i.e. the number including the physical unit). The benefit of that is that you don't have to bother about any unit conversions any more.

I use this tool quite often, because it makes technical calculations easier and faster and I can avoid the frequent mistakes I always make when converting one unit into another.

Give it a try,
regards, ulrichAT

RE: Engineering calculator tool

You might want to consider Univerter - works great, includes lots of units and you can make your own.
