Firetube lengths

Hi,
In a line heater, is the # of fire tubes = to the # of tube runs or is 1 firetube = to 1 u-tube? If I need 16' of tube, is that 16' in one direction or a complete u-tube?

RE: Firetube lengths

For U tubes the length shall be taken as the straight length from end of tube to tube bend tangent. From my understanding in a heater U tube you have 2 runs.If you need 16 runs you should have 8 U tubes.

Regards

Luis
