Hi friends, I`m interested to make a preliminary design of in order to install a facility for treatment of the BTEX overhead vapors coming from the still column of the TEG regeneration system treatment at a natural gas dehydration plant.

So, What kind of parameters do I have to take in account for this preliminary design?

Does somebody has experience in the operation of this kind of process?

Any Help or recommendation will be appreciated

Maybe you should define "treatment" further before we can tell you anything specific. Define the objectives of the process first, define a preliminary mass balance and see what that looks like already.

Ok Mr epoisses, Thanks for your reply. My definition of treatment of BTEX vapors. is to reduce the BTEX´s content of the overhead vapors emissions of these vapors. That´s the main objective

Your answer to epoisses seems somewhat lacking w.r.t. engineering design.  Please give enough info for a mass balance or proper selection of a treatment:

Concentration of BTEX & other constituents, min. & max. values, volumetric or mass flow rates.
What are the emission limits in terms of concentration & mass (pounds/year).
How many hours/year will this operate?

Easiest solution is to burn it.  Send it to the flare system at the plant.  The flare KO should take care of the condensing water vapours in the line.  You could also have a vent tank separator immediately off the regen O/H to get rid of the condensing water sooner.
