Calculated Column in Table-Based Bill of Material

Calculated Column in Table-Based Bill of Material

Does anyone know if it is possible to add a Calculated Column and a Total below this column to SolidWorks 2004?

I will like to do this using Table-Based Bill of Material not the Excel table type. If this is possible, can someone tell me how is done?

Thanks

RE: Calculated Column in Table-Based Bill of Material

In SW 2005, I had some success by modifying the Table Template in which table was drawn from.  I apologize, but at the moment I forgot what I did.

Hi, Heavenlysolid:

I do not have an answer for you. But, if you add a calculated column and a total below it, then it is not a bill-of-material.

I figured it would not be easy so I did a saves as CVS and open it in Excel then I could figure out the cost of the machine I am building.

Thanks for the answers.
