Calculation of Bending (Lateral) Spring Stiffness

Is there a simple formula for calculating the bending (lateral) stiffness of a coiled helical spring ? I see lots of information on extensional and torsional stiffness but nothing on bending. All help would be appreciated.

Thanks for this reference. I haven't been able to locate a copy of this book. Is it possible to quote the equation for the generic case for a helical compression spring please ?
