Exporting Assembly sketches

Exporting Assembly sketches

Exporting Assembly sketches

(OP)
I'd like to resurrect an old thread thread559-90953 to see if anyone has figured this out yet.

I have been unable to get assembly sketch entities to export into any type of neutral file.  If you look at the IGES options there is a button for curves but they do not export.

RE: Exporting Assembly sketches

Perhaps you can save your assembly as a part and then attempt the export?

Reason trumps all.  And awe trumps reason.

If I remember correctly, I tried that and the assembly curves would not file with the part - No go.  I don't think I tried that in 2006 yet though, I'll give a try again.
