Have anyone used Pro/Intralink for the filing of SW files? I could do with some help.

Paul.

RE: Intralink for SW files

No reason it shouldn't work. The only restriction I have heard about is if the other system uses the same extension name as an existing PTC registered extension.

RE: Intralink for SW files

(OP)
The problem I've got is that the company that I have just started at uses Pro/E for 99.99% of it's work. I have been bought in so that they can get contracts from other companies. I have not got access to PDMworks, only Intralink.

Basically, the problem that I am getting is after checking in an assembly, all is well, but when I try to check it back out again, Solidworks forgets where the component files are (on Intralink has moved them). It is driving me mad.

Any suggestions (other than buying PDMworks)?

Paul.
