Vapor Pressure n methyl pyrrolidone

Vapor Pressure n methyl pyrrolidone

(OP)
I need the VP of n methyl pyrrolidone at 100F, and preferably over a range of temperatures from about 75 to 125F.

Anyone know where such data might be found?

RE: Vapor Pressure n methyl pyrrolidone

this is a little high

If you google it, there's also vapor pressures at 68F.  Put them in an excel spreadsheet and curve fit them remembering the log of the vapor pressure is proportional to the reciprocal of the absolute temmperature.

RE: Vapor Pressure n methyl pyrrolidone

You can do the same with the data in the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.

RE: Vapor Pressure n methyl pyrrolidone

The best source for information is ISP (www.ispcorp.com) and request an M-Pyrol Handbook.  It contains a wealth of physical property data on N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone.
