to diminish laser beam divergence of pulse laser diode?

to diminish laser beam divergence of pulse laser diode?

to diminish laser beam divergence of pulse laser diode?

(OP)
I will be very obliged if someone will explain me the simple way to diminish laser beam divergence of infrared pulse laser diodes. It is known that pulse laser diode (for example 905 nm) is used in rangefinder. The original laser beam divergence LBD is great (about 10*40 degree). I suppose that there exists the way to install a lens or several lens in rangefinders to diminish LBD. The price of a cheap rangefinder is about USD500. As a result it is obvious that the price of a lens is small. But I did not find some enterprise (I used Photonics Spectra data base) that suggests these lens.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Alexander.
