Mathematical Model Shaker

Mathematical Model Shaker

Mathematical Model Shaker

(OP)
Hi all!

I have the great pleasure to build a mathematical model of my Ling Dynamics Shaker v406.
Can anyone provide me a finished model? I already know that the shaker works such as a loudspeaker with series impedance (Rs+Ls) and a mechanical parallel RLC system. But

1) How can I find out the parameter: L(series), stiffness, damping? I have already build a model with MATLAB but the parameter do not match to the results.

2) Can anyone give me good literature sources? It is difficult to get appropriate information about shakers!

Thanks a lot!!

RE: Mathematical Model Shaker

BEER1:  What is it you are trying to model? As you say the shaker itslf is basically a big speaker, but the control system is not.  Its job is to drive the shaker with the profile you program in.

Dave

RE: Mathematical Model Shaker

So work it backwards.  Why can't you run your Ling without a load, collect the data and extract the values?

RE: Mathematical Model Shaker

The following reference includes a shaker model and a shaker/structure model in the appendix.
