remove lines within a par body

remove lines within a par body

(OP)
Hi,

When you hack and slashed imported models, the model keeps a line between section of the model where a portion has been removed and extuded to fill the voids.  some boundaries do not show  up as a line, but some of them show lines of sepration even though it's still one face and solid.  Besides not showing the edge line and etc, can those lines on a face of one body be removed to show a clean surface?

thank you

RE: remove lines within a par body

What is "hack and slash"?  Are you talking drafting section views, assembly (DMU) sectioning, solid body split, what?

RE: remove lines within a par body

I guess that you are talking about vertices?  That would be the closing points for the feature.  A circle will always have 2 points, which become 2 lines when you extrude them.

There's no way to get rid of them, unfortunately. But then again, there's no real need to. If you don't like the way they look, you can just change the render mode. (shading with no edges)
