Release coat on SS tube
Release coat on SS tube
(OP)
I'm looking for different release coating on the SS tube/mandrel that is hollow and 1.5"dia
1. The release coat needs to withstand 250C
2. The opearation is done in class 1000 clean room.
Currently we are applying a ormocer(organically modified ceramics...)
The used mandrels cannot be recoated and need to be scrapped.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

RE: Release coat on SS tube
1. The SS tube will go through temp cycle (for Eg: 60C, 100C 150C 250C and back to 100C) Totoal time will be approx 2hrs
2. The release coating's function is to release a polymer tube that is coated on the SS tube (The release coat to be in between SS and Polymer)
3. Good adhesion is required
4. The SS tube will not be interfacing with any moving parts, so abrasion is minimal
Thanks
