PLM World Conference

PLM World Conference

PLM World Conference

(OP)
Anyone here going to the Conference in May? My new employer is sending me (NC programmer)and our cad gurus to it. I'm pretty  excited in that this is the first for time for me. And this is from a company that is currently using Solidworks for design.

I'm the only UG user on the cam side but they're considering a whole PLM/PDM solution. My previous employers never thought it was "worth it".

I usually do not attend the conference, but I'm a member of PLM World.

RE: PLM World Conference

If your considering the whole PLM/PDM package, it will be worth your time.  Otherwise, I feel that they are spreading their focus too thin in regards to a native UG environment.
I attended two years ago, and while I did get a lot out of it, it would be pretty hard to justify the expense now.
