Loosing materials in PhotoWorks

Loosing materials in PhotoWorks

Loosing materials in PhotoWorks

(OP)
So I'm working along in PhotoWorks and all was going well.  I tried to attach a part to a material selection and all @%@# broke loose.  It seems as though my lighting and materials blew up when I tried to do some editing. I can't add material properties and some of the existing materials that were defined don't render now.

Sorry that I can't be more specific because I can't quite see what I did and how to reverse the error.

Any suggestions on some basics would be welcome.

I'm running SW2005 Sp5.0.

Thanks in advance.

I fouynd my mistake.  I had selected to use SolidWorks materials.  This seems to have overridden using SolidWorks physical materials in the system options of the rendering options.

All is well now.
