coconut oil dielectric value

coconut oil dielectric value

coconut oil dielectric value

(OP)
Hi,

In a new coconut oil hydrogenation plant that I am designing, I see that the instrumentation suppliers are requesting a minimal dielectrical value for the main process liquid to be measured (level gages, etc) , in my case hardened coconut oil.

Did a google search for that value, found nothing excepted that coconut oil is considered a good insulator for transformators, which in my case is rather bad news, if you intend to use capacitive sensors as coconut oil detection in several vessels.

Has anyone a book or a source providing this specific dielectric value for COCONUT oil?

thanks in advance,
a frustrated person.
