Cutting bronze question

Cutting bronze question

Cutting bronze question

(OP)
We have a new Bystronic ByStar 4400w laser.  A local bronze foundry is wanting us to cut some bronze for them at 3/16 in thick.  Can someone give me some insight on doing this?
Thank you,
Kevin

RE: Cutting bronze question

Kevin,

Have you spoken with Bystronic applications?  I was just speaking with the Applications Manager and he said they should be able to help you out.  Please call them at 800-247-3332.

I would like to hear from some real World people on this also.
Thank you,

RE: Cutting bronze question

burnsie1990,
I do not have any experience with bronze but I have learned to trust the Apps Engineers at the manufacturers. After all, they , in most cases, do the demos that provide acceptible results that result in the sale of the product.

Hope this helps,

Scott

In a hundred years, it isn't going to matter anyway.
