Tabulated Inventor Drawings

Tabulated Inventor Drawings

Tabulated Inventor Drawings

(OP)
I have lots of common parts; thus, I need to create tabulated drawings for these parts.  However, I don't want to create various models (flat patterns) of each.  Is there a way in Inventor to create tabulated models and then to create a tabulated drawing of these various models?

Thank you for your time.

RE: Tabulated Inventor Drawings

For tabulated models read iParts??

RE: Tabulated Inventor Drawings

I think iParts will work well.  But how do you show the charted dimensions on the drawing?  ie. create a new -# (we use -1, -2, etc), and the drawing updates (hopefully automatically) to show the new row with the charted dimensions.

RE: Tabulated Inventor Drawings

I am a brand new Inventor 10 user and want to purchase some training videos or dvd's.
Any suggestions on which product would be the best?

Your most affordable option is to work through the tutorials that came on the disks, and try Sean's tutorials on www.sdotson.com
(don't be afraid to throw Sean a donation for his hard work and contributions)
Sean has links to some other great sites of other extremely generous users too.
