Display Style

Wildfire 2.0  - m130  -  Drawing Mode

I have noticed that at times my drawings revert back to the Default/Default setting in the View Display selection. I select Display Style: No Hidden, Tangent Edges: Dimmed AND SAVE, the next time I open the drawing...tah-dah! BACK to the default.

Setting? Bug?

Anyone have the same problem?

RE: Display Style

Ditto... I also can't get the planes, datums, axis to stay at their default... I have to double-check them before I print to make sure they're off. It seems random whether they'll be displayed or not.

RE: Display Style

I don't think I've ever seen view properties change randomly.  (Maybe a version dependent bug?)

Datum, etc. ... Save status, maybe sometimes update sheet or all sheets?  I do see random changes in datum visibility if changes are made to model layer status, but ~think~ update will synch everything again unless I've defined view dependent layer status.

RE: Display Style

Hi Cadfreak,

Are these settings changing in the same drawing? Or when you start or open other drawings?

These defaults (settings) can be set in your drawing set up file (.DTL).  If you change these in a drawing they only affect that drawing.  You have to save the .DTL file for these setting to affect all drawings going forward.  It will not affect drawings that are already made.
