Hole command!
Hole command!
(OP)
Hello, I think I am missing something while using the hole command. I would like to have a series of holes with 4 rows and 2 columns which is dim. from another hole which is a driving hole (if that hole moves, the other holes move). When using the hole command I cannot insert more then one hole at a time. If I use the "Cut Out" command I have control over how many holes I need. Any help in understanding my problem is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks again!
RE: Hole command!
There is another way to do what you are after, though. If you want updateable hole locations, use a "user defined" pattern to insert every hole after the first one. Then, to update hole locations, you can simply modify the sketch.
The drawback to using this feature, is that it only copies the first hole. So, you can't individually modify the hole size.

To place your holes in a pattern of some sort, first draw a sketch with points to be shown. You can for eg. draw rectangle, make the lines construction and the end-points in the four corners standard elements. After doing this, click your hole command, click the "point sketch" or pattern you just created, and then click the face you want to place it on.
