Can somebody tell me what is the EN equivalent of SAE 4340

RE: EN Equivalent of SAE 4340

If EN means Euronorm, then there is no exact equivalent standard grade.  EN 10083-1 has two grades that are similar: 36CrNiMo4 (1.6511) and 36NiCrMo16 (1.6773).  There are many heat-treatable grades of steel that contain Cr, Ni, and Mo, and usually you can choose a satisfactory alternative based on the requirements for strength, hardenability, toughness, etc.  If you provide additional details about the part and its requirements, we can assist you further.
