Mori Seiki vs Mazak

Mori Seiki vs Mazak

Hello there,

Have to choose a new CNC lathe (2 spindles, 2 turrets).
Any feedback on Mori Seiki and Mazak will help.

Thank you

RE: Mori Seiki vs Mazak

From my experience, Mazaks are the Cadillac to Program, and Mori Seikis are the Cadillac for everything else. Mori's are much better built and will still be making parts while you are waiting for Mazak Parts to come in. We could not break our Mori's and, once they were 5 years old, could hardly keep our Mazaks running. These were all mills. However, if you are programing short runs of intricate parts at the machine, the Mazak will bang out more jobs per week than the Mori.

Again this is just my $.02

Thanks a lot !

This certainly matches our feeling on Mori
