I have created a note just below my title block with a "long date" link in it. But i cant figure out how to get a current time to go with it. (i need the current date & time for each printed article)

any suggestions?
thanks,
ed.

RE: Solidworks Property Links

Try using the "SW-Created Date" property.

Thanks Cor. That does work to get the current time stamp but it gives an old date. (file creation date)

any other suggestions?
Thanks.

RE: Solidworks Property Links

The last save date will also give you the date and time. Is that more what you are looking for.

definitely closer but it seems to me that there should be a way to stamp the current date and time of print. if you should merely open a drawing to print it but dont save it then the date stamp will be old.

thank for the help.

RE: Solidworks Property Links

Select print from the pull down menu
Select header / footer
select custom header or footer, you will find date and time stamps
