Section Views in SW2006

Section Views in SW2006

Can anyone help?

Is it me or could you change configuration in SW2004 and your assembly would still be shown in section. In SW2006 this does not appear to be possible. Is it a setting that I don't have set, or is this a discrepency in SW2006.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Section Views in SW2006

I'm not clear. What type of config do you want to change? What type of section? Do you also mean in the assy or a dwg?

when i talk about section view it refers to the sction button on the standard views toolbar.

RE: Section Views in SW2006

It doesn't stay "sectioned" here either, but I do not remember if it worked that way in SW04 either.  You have to save the section view, and use that view whenever you change configs.

It stays sectioned in SW05 when switching between configs.
