RE: Using Composites in Automotive components

Several Motorcycle manufacturers are using composites on prototype one of a kind machines. Composites are being used for chassis, tanks, ergonomic plastic components and just about anythings the factory engineers can think of. The aftermarket parts suppliers in the dirt bike community are also having a heyday with carbon fiber and kevlar componentry. Pick up a couple of dirt bike magazines it may give you some avenues you can try to obtain what you are looking for.
