after I have run couple of simple analsis in ansys, the "picker" box doesnt show up. What i typical do is close the application and start it up again, is there anyway around this?

I've had this happen with V9 and V10 as well.  One thing that may help is to make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date.  Aside from that I think it's one of those small pests that you simply need to work through.  Maybe someone else knows the magic solutions here...

Hi,
there is a solution: reset the graphical interface by hitting ctrl+shift+del.
yes, yes, I've been myself told that it's a known bug of ANSYS. I thought it was solved in v10 as since I left v9 for v10 this annoying thing doesn't bother me any more; it may be that this error is due to bad handling of the video drivers, and release after release they fix the bug for more and more drivers...
