CO2 distribution between Oil &Water

CO2 distribution between Oil &Water

CO2 distribution between Oil &Water

(OP)
Hi,
I am wondering if someone knows a way to calculate CO2 conctration in water in equibrilium with oil, which contains specic amount of CO2. More specificly:
I have oil with 30 mg/L CO2 in it, what could be CO2 in water in contact with that oil in long time(equibrilium)?

Thanks for your replies

RE: CO2 distribution between Oil &Water

A eq. of state will calculate this - but you need the composition of the "oil".

Best regards

Morten
