PSD random time signal generator

(OP)
I am looking for a MATLAB or Simulink program to generate a time history displacement profile from a PSD (G^2/Hz) plot. I would like to integrate the m file or model into my 6DOF stabilized platform model for virtual vibration testing and would rather not spend too much time on recreating such a tool. Does anyone have any good starting points?

RE: PSD random time signal generator

DRao:  Doing an inverse PSD will give yyou a time history, but it will be one of an infinite number of history's.  You have no way if knowing that the inverse PSD time history you get is the one you want

try www.vibrationdata.com

RE: PSD random time signal generator

Remember that control loops have resonances and roll-offs in performance.  Double integrating acceleration data to get a displacement command does not guarantee you will get the response accelerations you desire.
